Keesha and Her two Moms go Swimming...

Hi every one...This promising young writer couple has started to fill a void in children's books for the lesbian and gay families in U.S.A. and all over the world. I am so proud to be a part of such a venture as the main illustrator of the books. So here's presenting the cover of the very first story book written by Monica Bey-Clarke and Cheril Clarke...Hope you all like it...

Mikey Series..

Had been working on a book series about a Afro-American kid "Mikey" about how he is dealing with his Dad moving away and him getting to see him so less. Our team at iDoodle Studios did the whole concept and layouting of the story. And here's presenting the first look of few of the line arts we did...though there would be changes later on..Hope you all like them..

Step by Step:

I was busy with a new series of character development where I stumbled upon a rudimentary sketch I had done long long back. The expression of the bird stuck with me until I decided to make it the very first post. So, here's sharing of the simple coloring process i did on the original sketch
Now, i thought of cleaning up the sketch first to bold lines...
Then here I added basic colors to the bird..
A very slight amount of shades on the edges where required..
Multitone shading with same color shades as the basic color earlier added...
Highlights added to complete the bird...
Now to start with the background...
Finishing the background with special emphasis on the bird....
Hope you like my very first entry...:)...
